Engineering Manager - Payments

Join Ebury, a global FinTech company, as an Engineering Manager for the Money Flows Team. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of our financial technology platform. You will be responsible for technical leadership, delivery management, cross-functional collaboration, people management, and process performance. The position is based in Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work model.

• Technical Leadership: Own a specific domain/subdomain, defining and setting the 0–6 month technical roadmap, and ensuring long-term architectural consistency.
• Delivery Management: Responsible for team delivery, including sprint planning and monitoring overall project health, and ensuring all incidents are owned and resolved efficiently.
• People Management: Lead and stabilize a team of engineers across various seniority levels, providing active coaching, regular performance reviews, and clear career pathing.
