Backend Developer

Join Flowbox as a Backend Developer and be part of an autonomous, cross-functional, agile team. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability. You will also collaborate to design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems, and debug production issues across different services. The role requires at least 3-4 years of experience in backend development and data engineering, strong coding skills in Python, and familiarity with a tech stack that includes Celery, Flask, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, GitHub, and AWS resources.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members to design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems, and debug production issues.
• Work with a tech stack that includes Python, Docker, AWS, S3, Snowflake, Airflow, Athena, Kubernetes, Lambdas PostgreSQL, DynamoDB.
• To thrive in this role, you should have at least 3–4 years of experience in backend development and data engineering
• You should have strong coding skills in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python
• Furthermore, you will be working with a tech stack consisting of Celery, Flask, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Microservices arch, GitHub and other AWS resources like Cloudwatch, kinesis, EKS. So if you have experience with these, it’s a big plus.
• It is a plus if you have a track record of working with a fast-paced agile team with a startup culture and mindset
