Junior Derivative Valuation Specialist (m/f) - Job based in Luxembourg

Join our team of valuation experts in Luxembourg as a Junior Derivative Valuation Specialist. You will be responsible for calculating and reporting the fair value of derivatives, developing quantitative models, and conducting reviews and gap analyses. A master's degree in finance, engineering, or applied mathematics is required, along with experience in the financial sector and strong programming skills.

• Calculer et rapporter la juste valeur des dérivés, en réconciliant avec les enregistrements comptables.
• Travailler avec une large gamme de dérivés de gré à gré (taux, FX, crédit, actions, produits structurés, instruments illiquides, etc.).
• Développer et appliquer des modèles quantitatifs et des solutions informatiques pour l'évaluation des dérivés et l'amélioration des processus.

Profile description

**Must have**

• Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering or Applied Mathematics with a strong willingness to develop expertise in the financial sector
• Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of related regulations, plus knowledge of financial instruments (bonds, shares, derivatives, funds, …)
• Strong basics in derivatives pricing or mathematics and solid programming skills in Matlab, Python, R or another language
• Good team player able to work autonomously, agile, enthusiastic, results‑oriented, able to work within deadlines, and fluent in English

**Nice to have**

• Passion for problem solving with excellent analytical skills
• French or German language skills
• Knowledge of the main Financial Information Providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, …)
