People Operations Coordinator

Join Open Farm, a rapidly growing company dedicated to doing good for animals and the planet. As a People Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive work environment and supporting the entire employee journey. Your responsibilities will include managing wellness and benefits programs, coordinating interviews, administering health benefits, and planning company events. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming office space and managing vendors. This is a hybrid position that requires a love of pets and strong people skills.

• Supporting the administration of wellness, benefits, performance, and recognition programs, as well as RRSP and 401(k) administration.
• Coordinating interviews across departments, managing calendars with hiring managers and panels, and leading Co-op/Summer Student recruitment.
• Owning the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, and supporting the entire employee journey from onboarding to offboarding.
• A love of pets (this one's non-negotiable)
• You can juggle a lot of people and priorities without dropping the ball
• Real empathy and strong people skills
• You're comfortable when things are a little messy or unclear
• You take ownership and follow through
• Bonus points if you've got experience with both Canadian and US HR practices, since our team spans both
• You know how to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• You're happy wearing a lot of hats and shifting gears throughout the day
• You're proactive - you don't wait to be told what to do
• You pick up new systems and tools quickly (HRIS, CultureAmp, scheduling platforms, etc.)
• You've got an eye for detail, especially when it comes to data accuracy and compliance
• You care about company culture and the employee experience - not just the admin side of HR
