Lead Technical Application Specialist (Agentic IAM)

Join Lloyds Banking Group as the Lead Technical Application Specialist for Agentic IAM. In this full-time role, you will lead a team responsible for building and operating engineering services that govern AI agents, machine identities, and automated services. You will work closely with security, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure secure and consistent access management while supporting the adoption of emerging technologies. This position combines people leadership with technical delivery, and you will have the opportunity to coach and support engineers in their professional growth.

• Lead a team responsible for building and operating engineering services that govern AI agents, machine identities, and automated services throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Security teams to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes, develop technical approaches, and ensure services remain secure and well governed.
• Coach and support engineers, fostering an environment where they can learn, contribute, and develop their careers while ensuring the delivery of complex enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Experience working with Product Owners, Architects and cross-functional delivery teams
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams, supporting both delivery and professional growth
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong technical background with a track record of delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes and technical solutions
• Experience in Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security or Enterprise Technology
• Commitment to delivering secure, resilient and well-governed services
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies
• Knowledge of platforms such as SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID or CyberArk
• Experience adopting automation, API-driven integration and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Interest in emerging identity technologies, machine identities and automated services
• Understanding of regulatory, risk and security requirements within large organisations
• Experience supporting modern identity and access management solutions
