About The Role

Join our professional consulting firm as a Part-Time Energy Consultant. You will work on energy policy and regulatory consulting projects, conduct research and analysis, and support client communication. This is a project-based engagement with flexible working arrangements, primarily remote. You will have the opportunity to work on meaningful energy policy projects across Europe and Asia.

  • Independently or collaboratively deliver client energy policy and regulatory consulting projects, including policy research and analysis, regulatory impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement materials.
  • Conduct policy and regulatory research, data collection, and analysis; produce high-quality reports, policy briefs, position papers, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support the company project team in client communication, requirement clarification, progress updates, and deliverable finalisation while maintaining professional standards.
  1. Substantial experience in energy policy or regulatory advisory: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in energy policy, regulation, or related consulting/research roles (preference for consulting firms, government/regulatory agencies, think tanks, international organisations, utilities, or large corporate policy/strategy teams), with a proven track record of delivering complete policy analysis or advisory projects.
  2. Strong understanding of energy transition policies, regulatory frameworks, market design, and carbon/energy security issues in Europe and/or Asia.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to produce clear, structured, and persuasive policy reports and presentations.
  4. Strong analytical, research, and stakeholder engagement skills; results-oriented, highly responsible, and able to work independently under a flexible project-based schedule.
  5. Prior experience with government/regulatory clients, policy impact assessments, or cross-regional (Europe–Asia) energy policy work is an advantage.
