About The Role

As a Staff Software Developer, you will play a key role in establishing the technical foundations for global-ready products.
You will collaborate with a team of developers, write high-quality code, and provide feedback on peers' code.

Acting as a technical stakeholder for multiple projects within your area of focus, and partnering with development managers in defining the technical roadmap.
Identifying and resolving technical big rocks that unblock product opportunities, and writing high quality and well-tested code.
Collaborating with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customers, and reviewing and providing feedback on a peer's code.
This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions and being exposed to new challenges and technologies while making an impact
International/global development experience is a plus, but not required
The ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers
Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale and Ruby on Rails
Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products
A portfolio of successful projects (as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects)
A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow Clions and customers; and
