Test Engineer

• Design and execute manual and automated tests across complex systems, and build and maintain test frameworks and automation suites.
• Work closely with software and platform engineers throughout the development lifecycle, shaping testing approaches and embedding quality into delivery.
• Carry out exploratory testing to identify risk and edge cases, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and tooling.

• We welcome candidates with varied backgrounds and levels of experience - strong testing fundamentals, curiosity, and a pragmatic mindset matter more than familiarity with every tool
• Automated testing tools such as Robot Framework, Cypress, or Cucumber
• Exposure to modern stacks such as MERN, Elasticsearch, or Neo4J
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• UK citizen with at least 10 years UK residency
• Testing web applications built with Angular, React, or Vue
• Experience creating or extending test frameworks
• Willing to travel to customer sites in Manchester
• Must already hold high-level UK security clearance
• Exploratory and risk-based testing techniques
• Programming or scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
