Automation Engineer

Join our team as an Automation Engineer, where you will support multi-organizational integration and end-to-end process automation projects. You will work closely with engineers, automation architects, and analysts to ensure optimal delivery architecture. As a staff engineer, you will have a strategic understanding of company priorities and make technical decisions to solve business problems. You will design, develop, simulate, and test automation and integration tasks, manage and monitor the status of services, and stay current with industry trends. This role may require security clearance. - Support the delivery of multi-organizational integration and end-to-end process automation projects. - Design, develop, simulate, and test automation and integration tasks using enterprise-scale integration tools in the Azure tech stack. - Act as the escalation point for all associated incidents to the service, manage, review, monitor, and report on the status of the services. - PowerShell - T-SQL - Azure cloud services: Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure SQL - This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer. If applying to this role please do not make reference to (in conversation) or include in your application or CV, details of any current or previously held security clearance - Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) - Experience working with Active Directory and associated management tools - Good working knowledge of REST API and SOAP/XML - Desired - Familiarity with other Microsoft System Center products (e.g. SCCM) - Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) - On-premises SQL services: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS) - Backend technologies: Core (C#) and Entity Framework Core - A successful history of using DevOps best practices, including backlog management, source control (Git) and CI/CD with Azure DevOps - Experience delivering integration solutions using modern software technologies and techniques - Experience with Finance / HR ERPs (Workday, Oracle, etc.) - Power BI
