Capital Markets Analyst

Join Octane, a fast-growing company in the capital markets sector. As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will work closely with the VP of Capital Markets and the rest of the team to maintain existing capital partner relationships and assist in forging new ones. You will be involved in streamlining financial reporting, conducting daily analyses, and troubleshooting issues. You should be collaborative, open to challenge, and able to work across the organization with people in finance, engineering, credit, and operations.

• Assister à l'établissement et à la croissance des relations avec les partenaires en capital, en gérant les livrables clés tout au long du processus de collecte de fonds.
• Aider à structurer, négocier et exécuter des accords de financement par emprunt, y compris les installations de stockage et les titrisations adossées à des actifs (ABS).
• Construire et affiner des outils analytiques pour évaluer les stratégies de financement actuelles, optimiser l'exécution de la dette et modéliser les étapes de financement futures.

• Advanced Excel proficiency, strong financial modeling capabilities, and hands-on experience using SQL to query and analyze disparate data sets. Proficiency with Python is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and high attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. An advanced degree is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate effectively across teams, multitask, and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in capital markets, treasury, investment banking, financial services, consulting, or operations
• Direct exposure to structured finance, securitization (ABS), or warehouse facility management is preferred
