Senior Software Engineer at Elastic — Ireland

About The Role

Join Elastic, the Search AI Company, as a Senior Software Engineer in the self-service cloud growth team. In this role, you will focus on human user onboarding and agents onboarding, directly influencing the successful growth of Elastic Cloud. You will work as a full stack engineer, contributing to both the backend and frontend of the product onboarding and trial experience. You will design and implement new scalable features and APIs, collaborate with PMs and designers, and integrate cloud and Kibana onboarding flows.

You're an awesome communicator and a great team player
Ability to plan, design, implement, and lead projects independently
Knowledge in NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
Front-end tech like HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design is in your wheelhouse
You're a nerd (in a good way) when it comes to staying on top of industry trends and best practices
Problem-solving is your superpower, and you're all about the details
If you've dabbled in state management libraries (like NgRx), that's a big bonus
Fast-paced environments? No problem for you
Strong proficiency in Node.js server frameworks like Hapi and Next.js
Experience deploying and operationalizing software in production
Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript
Git and other code collaboration tools don't scare you
You know your way around RESTful APIs and async programming
Knowledge in React
Knowledge in JAVA
Experience in Kubernetes
Experience with Elasticsearch, and Kibana
