About The Role

Join BusRight as a Senior Product Manager, where you'll be the key link between the voice of the customer and our engineering team. You'll collaborate with all functional areas, track product engagement and performance metrics, and articulate customer engagement opportunities. You'll take ownership of foundational platform capabilities, lead the strategy and execution of our Student Information System integration layer, and define and drive our reporting product.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of BusRight's Student Information System (SIS) integration layer, ensuring reliable, accurate, and timely data sync.
  • Define and drive BusRight's reporting product, identifying key metrics and data points, and working with Engineering and Design to build actionable reporting experiences.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders

  • Experience defining and shipping reporting or data visualization features for non-technical end users
  • Outstanding critical listening skills with the ability to synthesize the communications of others clearly
  • 5-8 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with data integration patterns, including REST APIs and SFTP-based file exchange; experience with K-12 SIS platforms (e.g., PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 Trust Service Criteria and experience working within or alongside a compliance program
  • Demonstrated understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, role-based access control (RBAC), and permission modeling
  • Solid experience working with a web and/or mobile-based tech stack or experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field — or equivalent work experience
