Senior NodeJS Backend Engineer (Context Engineering)

As a Senior NodeJS Backend Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of insurance by building AI agents that streamline back-office work for brokers. You'll work closely with the founders, have the freedom to decide how things get built, and make a real impact on the company and product.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems for AI agent orchestration and real-time data processing.
• Take full ownership in building new AI agents that take over backoffice work on behalf of the broker.
• Partner with AI/ML teams to deploy models into production, optimizing APIs and microservices for speed, security, and simplicity.

### **Technical Skills:**

• 5+ years building backend systems in **NodeJS & Typescript**.
• **Expertise in cloud-native architectures** (AWS/Azure) & Docker.
• **Strong experience with RAG** creation & management, **context** engineering and **agentic memory creation**
• **Strong RESTful API** design experience.
• **Proficiency with relational** (PostgreSQL) and distributed systems.
• **Experience in Kubernetes & Infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code** (Terraform) is a plus.
• **Experience with AI/ML pipelines** (model deployment, MLOps) is a **strong plus**.
• **Familiarity building with LLMs / agentic workflows would be a plus.**
