About The Role

Join Insurify as an IT Security Engineer, where you'll design and enforce security controls to protect systems, data, and infrastructure. You'll work cross-functionally on long-term projects as the company continues to scale. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining security infrastructure, aligning security controls with regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing incident response plans.   • Configurer, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware, including SIEM, DLP, anti-malware, and intrusion response systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat/vulnerability analyses across systems and networks, and recommend, implement, and validate security controls and best practices.
  • Develop incident response plans and manage post-incident reviews, while continuously monitoring systems for threats and validating the effectiveness of implemented controls.
  • Clear, concise communication of complex technical risk to both technical and executive audiences
  • Working knowledge of frameworks such as PCI and NIST CSF are required
  • Understanding of data privacy laws and industry-specific regulations
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in IT security required
  • Experience with SIEM, DLP, and vulnerability management
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Expertise with Mac, Windows, enterprise IT, AWS cloud infrastructure, common threats, and core security tools
