This role offers the opportunity to help customers make informed decisions about annuity products and their long-term financial <security.As> an early member of an emerging sales function, you will help shape how customers experience and purchase annuity <solutions.You> will engage prospective customers through inbound and outbound channels, understand their individual needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.The position combines consultative selling, relationship building, customer education, and end-to-end pipeline <management.You> will also provide valuable customer insights that can influence product development, sales processes, and platform improvements.Success requires strong insurance expertise, confident communication, resilience, and a genuine commitment to transparent customer service.This is a fully remote opportunity in a fast-paced environment where high performance and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Accountabilities

  • Engage prospective customers through inbound and outbound phone calls, email, and SMS communications.
  • Educate customers on annuity products, processes, and purchasing requirements in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Conduct thorough discovery conversations to understand customers’ financial needs and goals and position appropriate solutions accordingly.
  • Build trusted customer relationships while working toward monthly and quarterly sales conversion targets.
  • Guide customers throughout the application and purchasing journey, providing timely follow-up and removing obstacles where possible.
  • Manage and maintain an active customer pipeline, ensuring prospects receive consistent and appropriate follow-up.
  • Use CRM tools to document customer interactions, track opportunities, and maintain accurate pipeline information.
  • Identify customer friction points and share actionable feedback with product and engineering teams to improve the annuity experience.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of sales scripts, outreach strategies, workflows, and processes for a growing product category.
  • Create positive customer experiences that encourage referrals and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving products, processes, customer needs, and business priorities while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Requirements

  • Active Life and Health Insurance License is required.
  • Completion of applicable state-required annuity suitability training and certifications.
  • 7+ years of experience in annuity, life, or health insurance sales.
  • 2–3 years of direct-to-consumer annuity telesales experience; experience with Fixed, Fixed-Index, or MYGA products is preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of strong sales performance and sophisticated techniques for handling and overcoming customer objections.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM/sales platform.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a confident, professional phone presence.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to educate customers and establish trust.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to recognize customer challenges and develop practical solutions to reduce friction.
  • Comfortable adapting quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and learning new products and processes.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve strong results.
  • Self-directed approach with the ability to take ownership of a customer pipeline and sales objectives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for helping customers make informed financial decisions.
