What you will do

Work in a cross-functional team with product managers, analysts and developers on a high-load telecom platformTest management (plan, test scenarios design, execution, follow-up, control)API and integration testing across microservicesPerformance and load testingTest automation and support of existing test buildsRegression testingTesting reporting and documentation

Qualifications and experience needed

4+ years of relevant working experience as a QA Engineer with a backend focusStrong backend testing experience: verifying end-to-end data flow between services, databases and message brokers, not only endpoint responsesGreat knowledge of automation tools and Java/TypeScript, with integration into CI pipelinesPerformance testing experience: load profiles, test execution, interpreting latency, throughput and error rateExcellent requirements analysis skills — identifying gaps and ambiguities before development startsExperience of composing test strategies and test plansTest design techniques knowledgeConfident knowledge of testing methodologiesSQL knowledge: complex queries with joins and aggregations, data integrity checksLinux/UNIX command line: log analysis, basic bashPractical skills with Git: branching, merging, code reviewExperience with MOCK-SERVER or a similar tool for isolating dependenciesKnowledge of TCP, HTTPUnderstanding of client-server and microservices architectures: inter-service communication, failure points, idempotencyGood knowledge of Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr), GitLab, Jenkins, Kibana, GrafanaHigher technical education or equivalent relevant experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced Agile environment in close collaboration with the development teamExcellent analytical skills, critical mindsetStrong communication and troubleshooting skillsEnglish is spoken and written on the intermediate level or higher
