COST ACCOUNTANT

• Maintain and update standard costs for manufactured products, including monthly and annual inventory revaluations.
• Calculate and validate standard costs for new part numbers.
• Analyze cost variances, inventory movements, and historical cost data to support internal stakeholders.
• Prepare daily manufacturing finance reports (inventory levels, absorption, manufacturing expenses, earned hours).
• Perform inventory reconciliations by part number and location.
• Support scrap recovery processes by reconciling supplier billings against scrap manifests.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries in Oracle.
• Prepare financial and cost-related reports for management review.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including WIP and quarantine inventory reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2 years of experience in accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and inventory accounting.
• Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation and reconciliation, and cost variance analysis.
• Experience using ERP systems (Oracle or similar).
• Experience using financial reporting or consolidation tools integrated with Excel (e.g., SmartView, Hyperion, or similar).
• Experience supporting audits or compliance activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
