About the Role
We are looking for a
Finance & Accounts Executive
to join our Finance team and take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, statutory compliance, reporting and audit support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, hands-on ERP and Excel experience, and the ability to independently manage assigned activities with accuracy and accountability. This role offers an opportunity to work across multiple areas of Finance and contribute to the organisation’s financial discipline and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Manage
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
, including ageing, outstanding follow-ups, advances and settlements.
Perform
Bank, Customer, Vendor and General Ledger reconciliations
and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist in
GST, TDS and other statutory compliance
activities and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
Verify and process
vendor invoices, payments and supporting documents
in accordance with internal processes.
Prepare
MIS reports, financial schedules and management reports
to support business decision-making.
Support
monthly, quarterly and annual book closures
, including schedules and documentation required for financial statement preparation.
Maintain and reconcile
Fixed Asset and Inventory records
.
Coordinate with
Internal and Statutory Auditors
and provide required information, schedules and supporting documents.
Analyse
expenses and financial information
across departments, business units and cost centres.
Coordinate with
internal stakeholders, customers, vendors and external consultants
on finance-related matters.
Ensure timely completion of assigned activities with a strong focus on
accuracy, compliance and documentation
.
Identify discrepancies and process gaps and support initiatives to improve
financial controls and accounting processes
.
Take up additional finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
<B.Com> / <M.Com>
with
2–4 years of relevant experience
in Finance & Accounts.
Strong understanding of
accounting principles, financial statements and bookkeeping
.
Working knowledge of
GST, TDS and statutory compliance requirements
.
Hands-on experience with
Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central or similar ERP systems
.
Strong working knowledge of
MS Excel
, including data analysis and reporting.
Good
reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving skills
.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of
accuracy and ownership
.
Good
verbal and written communication skills
.
Ability to independently manage responsibilities with
minimal supervision
.
Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on broader responsibilities.
