Facilities Team Leader

The MEP Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of MEP systems and ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise MEP technicians and assign daily maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems

• Attend to breakdowns, faults, and emergency maintenance requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure work orders and maintenance requests are completed within the required time.
• Monitor the performance and productivity of the MEP team.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Engineer and other departments regarding maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work follows approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment readings, inspections, and completed work.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Coordinate with contractors and specialist service providers when required.
• Ensure technicians follow proper
• Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, and safety procedures

• Participate in emergency response and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to MEP technicians.
• Report major faults, equipment failures, and required spare parts to the supervisor/engineer.
