Manager - Weaving Preparatory

### Key Responsibilities 1. Oversee overall planning and execution of **Rewinding, Cone-to-Cone Sizing, Sectional Warping, and Knotting** processes as per production requirements. 2. Plan, schedule, and balance production activities based on **WIP, machine capacity, priorities, and customer requirements**. 3. Manage **shift-wise manpower planning, attendance, and workforce allocation** across all processes. 4. Monitor **preventive and breakdown maintenance** activities for all machines and equipment. 5. Coordinate logistics for **material receipt, movement, and dispatch** of ready materials to respective locations. 6. Monitor and control **waste generation** and coordinate with the waste collection team for timely disposal. 7. Ensure effective **process control and quality management** across all processes to achieve the required beam quality. 8. Coordinate with **OEMs and service engineers** for machine-related issues, erection, commissioning, and technical support. 9. Coordinate with **Procurement and Stores** teams for PR/PO processing and availability of spare parts. 10. Coordinate with Purchase and Stores teams for **external repairs and internal service requirements**, including PR/PO processing. 11. Coordinate with Engineering teams for **new projects, machine installations, and process improvements**, and implement appropriate action plans. 12. Monitor daily movement and transportation of process accessories, including **springs, PPTs, cones, boxes, trolleys, and beams**. 13. Manage and monitor **WIP inventory of dyed yarn materials** to ensure optimum stock levels. 14. Coordinate with IR teams for recruitment and deployment of **company and contract manpower** and address manpower shortages. 15. Monitor **sizing chemical inventory, consumption, and associated costs**. 16. Coordinate with the Purchase team for the **timely procurement of sizing chemicals**. 17. Coordinate with Commercial teams to ensure smooth **movement of materials between work centres and job workers**. 18. Coordinate with Engineering/Utility teams to ensure uninterrupted **utility supply and resolution of related issues**. 19. Analyze and resolve **beam-related quality complaints** received from loom sheds. 20. Conduct training and skill development programs for **Warpers, Sizers, and Knotters**. 21. Track and monitor **priority and urgent customer orders** to ensure timely execution. 22. Monitor and track the availability of **empty beams** for effective sectional warping planning. 23. Analyze machine and process **downtime** and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve availability and productivity. 24. Conduct **Root Cause Analysis (RCA)** for quality-related complaints and implement sustainable corrective actions. 25. Implement preventive measures to minimize **rejection, rework, and process losses**. 26. Ensure strict adherence to **SOPs, process standards, quality parameters, and work instructions**. 27. Optimize inventory levels and minimize **excess inventory and dead stock generation**. 28. Ensure workforce discipline and adherence to **company policies, procedures, and code of conduct**. 29. Monitor **absenteeism and workforce availability** and take timely corrective actions. 30. Ensure implementation and adherence to **safety standards and safe working practices** across all preparatory sections. 31. Monitor and review **daily production, efficiency, productivity, and MIS reports**, and communicate key performance updates to stakeholders. 32. Ensure timely and accurate **SAP entries and transaction updates** for all four processes.
