About the Role

If you love the fast pace of travel, the precision of a perfectly booked itinerary, and the satisfaction of solving a client's travel crisis before they even panic — this is your seat. You'll be the person corporate executives, government delegations, and individual travellers trust to get them where they need to go, on time and effortlessly.

This isn't a back-office ticketing job. You'll be the front-line expert clients call when a flight gets cancelled two hours before departure, and the reason they come back next time.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Own the booking process, start to finish
  • Handle reservations, ticketing, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds across domestic and international flights using Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
  • Build optimal itineraries — flights, hotels, visas, travel insurance — tailored to each client's budget and preferences
  • Be the calm, capable voice when schedules change or flights get disrupted, sorting out re-routings fast
  1. Be the expert clients rely on
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for retail, corporate, and diplomatic clients — by phone, email, and in person
  • Stay sharp on visa rules, passport validity, transit requirements, and health regulations so your clients never get caught out
  • Apply fare rules, taxes, and date-change penalties accurately, protecting both the client and the agency from unnecessary costs
  1. Keep the numbers clean
  • Match payments to bookings before ticket issuance — no leakage, no surprises
  • Prepare daily sales summaries and reconciliation reports for Finance,

Requirements

What you bring

  • A Bachelor's degree or HND in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years hands-on experience as a Ticketing/Reservations Officer at a travel agency or airline
  • Working fluency in at least one GDS platform (Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport) — IATA or GDS certification is a strong plus
  • Sharp attention to detail — the kind that catches a fare rule error before it becomes an expensive problem
  • Communication skills that stay clear and professional even when a client is stressed and the clock is ticking
