Job Responsibilities

  • Build Applications: Design and code Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for web and mobile use.
  • Automate Workflows: Create automated business processes and multi-step approvals using Power Automate.
  • Connect Data: Integrate apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs.
  • Visualize Data: Build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Collaborate and Support: Gather requirements from business users, fix bugs, and provide user training.
  • Testing and Maintenance: Troubleshoot app performance, resolve bugs, handle security roles, and update applications based on user feedback.
  • Programming Logic: Knowledge of Power FX (the low-code formula language used in Canvas Apps).
  • Pro-Code Extras: Basic JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or C# for custom plugins and advanced client-side scripting.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically 2 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience building Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with strong business domain knowledge frequently transition into this role).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python are highly preferred.
  • Understanding the Zero Trust framework and Incident Response remediation will also be a desired skillset.

Certifications: Industry credentials expertise, including

  • PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
  • PL-100: Power Platform App Maker
  • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
