About The Role
Head Exploration - FACOR GRADE: M4 Roles & Responsibilities: • Develop and execute resource-to-reserve conversion strategies for Ostapal, Kalarangiatta, and Kathpal Mines and other mines of FACOR to sustain long-term production and ore security. • Prepare and implement conceptual, brownfield, and infill drilling programs to enhance geological confidence and expand mineral inventory. • Establish and maintain a robust geological database including drilling, sampling, assay, survey, and QA/QC data. • Lead geological interpretation and 3D orebody modelling for chromite and manganese deposits using industry-standard software. • Prepare and update resource estimations and block models in compliance with IBM/UNFC and industry best practices. • Provide timely geological and resource updates to Mine Planning teams for optimization of mine design, production schedules, and Life-of-Mine plans. • Conduct resource-reserve-production reconciliation studies and continuously improve model accuracy and grade predictions. • Drive resource establishment activities for new projects, including Punnam and Katasahi Manganese Blocks, and support Kathpal Mine reopening. • Evaluate and implement advanced technologies, AI/ML tools, and digital solutions for drill targeting, geological modelling, and exploration optimization. Deliver annual resource and reserve growth targets while ensuring statutory compliance, technical reporting. Desired Attributes: • 12–15 yrs experience in Exploration <M.Tech> /M.Sc. in Applied Geology, Exploration Geology, Mining Geology, or Mineral Exploration (preferred). • Certification/training in Resource Estimation, Geostatistics , GIS, or Mine Planning will be an added advantage • Hands-on experience in Datamine Studio RM and Leapfrog Geo for geological modelling, resource estimation, and block model preparation will be an added advantage
