Shop Mechanic

North Houston Pole Line (NHPL) is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair the company’s fleet of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. Working primarily from the shop, this position helps ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to support NHPL’s utility construction crews. North Houston Pole Line supports transmission, distribution, substation, underground, and emergency-restoration operations and maintains specialized equipment used throughout utility construction. The Traveling Mechanic must be comfortable responding to changing priorities, and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and related equipment issues away from the main shop.
