Lead Exec/Asst Mgr - Procurement Department

• Join a team of procurement professionals and work closely with NYP stakeholders on the procurement of a wide range of goods and services.
• [What you will be working on]

• Procure goods/services for all Schools and Corporate Departments in NYP through Quotations (e.g. : Small-value Purchases (SVP) ,Invitation-to-Quote (ITQ), Request-for-Quotation (RFQ) and Direct Contracting) and Tenders.
• Adhere to established government procurement policies and procedures (Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement).
• Uphold strong documentation and record-management standards to support transparent and compliant procurement processes.
• Serve as a Business Partner to Schools and Departments, developing appropriate procurement strategies, providing procurement advice, handling contract management issues, and resolving matters promptly.
• Innovate and add value to the procurement process.
• Provide support for additional job-related tasks and projects as assigned.

[What we are looking for]

• Proven working experience with government procurement, and familiar with Government Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ, and Workday is preferred.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, meticulous and with an eye for details
• Good stakeholder management and excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to co-create solutions.
• Independent, able to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under tight timeline.
• Good team player, self-driven and service-oriented.
