Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an American Board-Certified Specialist Psychiatrist to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric assessment and treatment across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Manage patients with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and departmental activities.
• Provide patient and family counselling and education.
• Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• American Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid professional registration/licence in the country of practice.
• Relevant clinical experience in Psychiatry.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility for UAE licensing in accordance with applicable PQR requirements. Final professional title is subject to regulatory authority assessment.
