This role is responsible for designing and implementing process improvements, supporting new product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams on tooling and material selection, and providing technical expertise to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and enhance overall production performance.Essential Functions:Develop, document and optimize injection molding processes for new and existing productsWork with customers on tooling changes, customer part specifications, validation protocols, CAPA implementationImplement, lead manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency, train and mentor techs and operatorsMonitor production performance metrics and drive continuous improvement including automation with robotic initiativesTroubleshoot molding issues (flash, short shots, burn marks, warp etc) and recommend corrective actionsCoordinating sampling new products, PPAP's, Manufacturing and QualityCompany Benefits:Paid Time Off including holidays and vacationHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance2 Health Plan Options – One with fully reimbursed deductible!Flexible Spending Account401(k) with company matchCompany provided group life insurance and AD&DCompany provided short-term disability coverageOptional long-term disability coverageEmployee Referral BonusesPMM is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
