Deliver critical care in a high-acuity **Med Surg/Tele** unit, monitoring complex patients and responding to rapid changes in condition. Join a fast-paced team serving diverse acute care cases in a trauma-center environment.

Monitor/interpret cardiac telemetry
Perform IV starts and lab draws

Requirements

**Qualifications:**

**Education:** ADN/BSN from an accredited program
**Licensure:** Active, unrestricted NY RN license.
**Certification:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be current or eligible for immediate renewal)
**Experience:**

Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity level as the hiring hospital
Must have experience in Med Surg/Tele unit.
Experience with high patient volume and multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferred
Travel nurses must have experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or hospitals of equal or greater size

**Technical Skills:**

Must be Proficient in starting IVs
Must be able to draw labs independently
Must be skilled in monitoring and interpreting telemetry (tele)
Must have the ability to quickly assess and respond to changing patient conditions
