SUPO, where required)Why this role matters:This role ensures the availability of flight-critical systems, including ADCS, propulsion, power, and composite satellite structures, that directly impact satellite control and mission success, enabling designs to be built, tested, and launched on schedule. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesPrepare and issue RFQs and RFIs for Flight and Power Control and Structures components, and consolidate supplier responses for evaluationPlace and manage purchase orders, tracking status from order confirmation through to deliveryFollow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status, escalating delays as neededMaintain and organize procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and compliance readinessHandle day-to-day administrative supply chain tasks, including data entry, PO amendments, and invoice reconciliation in ERP/MRP systemsSupport senior supply chain specialists and category owners with sourcing activities and supplier communicationsCoordinate with engineering, quality, production, and finance stakeholders to align on delivery schedules and documentation needsTrack and update procurement records and status reports for category and management reviewsWhat we’re looking forMust haves:2+ years of procurement or buying experience sourcing technical hardware, ideally within aerospace, electronics, or hardware manufacturingExperience preparing RFQs/RFIs and managing purchase orders end-to-endStrong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple orders and suppliers in parallelStrong cross-functional communication and execution with engineering and production teamsProficiency with ERP/MRP systemsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven hardware production environmentBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldComfortable working within an international supplier ecosystemNice to haves:Familiarity with flight hardware, control systems, and composite materials supply chainsExposure to scaling production in a fast-growing, technology-driven companyApplication ProcessApplication reviewInitial interview with Talent Acquisition (30 minutes)Hiring manager video interviewTask assignment relevant to the roleFinal onsite team/department interview (2 hours)Working at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
