About The Role

IT Support Specialist - London

Live shows make us feel good. They’re a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on the dancefloor. We’re on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often – and that’s where you come in.

We're looking for a curious, hands-on IT Support Specialist to join our lean IT team in the London office. This isn't a traditional helpdesk role — you will be a part of a 2-person team, meaning you will be doing a bit of everything, including end-user support, networking, security and system administration (which will provide you with exposure to many systems and technologies)

At DICE, you’ll be part of the company redefining live entertainment. It’s a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work you’re proud of.

About the role

You'll be responsible for on-site and remote end-user support, administration of our core IT systems (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Jira, and more), managing access and devices across a mostly macOS environment, and contributing to internal tooling projects.

You will

  • Manage macOS devices via Kandji MDM — deployments, policies, and our custom OpenVPN setup.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for access management — onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissions.
  • Provide AV support for meeting rooms, all-hands, event spaces and office technology.
  • Support Slack and Jira-based IT requests, triage issues, and resolve them efficiently.
  • Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistently.
  • Support 25 Windows devices via Intune users (alongside our primary macOS environment).
  • Use available platforms to automate common requests and reduce toil.

You are

  • Genuinely passionate about live music and events.
  • Detail-obsessed. You catch errors before they go live and treat QA as a craft, not a checkbox.
  • Organised and dependable, comfortable juggling multiple tasks without dropping quality.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks end-to-end with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable adapting as priorities shift, automation scales, and the scope of the role evolves.
  • Collaborative by nature.
  • You'll need
  • Core IT skills
  • Solid macOS software/hardware support.
  • Experience with MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar).
  • Identity and access management — Google Workspace, SSO and other SaaS platforms.

Mindset

  • You ask "why does this keep happening?" before closing a ticket.
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritise without hand-holding.
  • You write things down — runbooks, notes, decisions.
  • You want to understand how things work, not just fix symptoms.

Nice to Have

  • Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.).
  • Networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, switches, VPN concepts.
  • Any Slack bot, webhook, or internal tooling project you've built — even a small one.
  • Scripts & automation — you don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and maintaining scripts helping with daily tasks.
