COUNT ROOM STAFF

The Count Team Member counts monies from bill validators (slot machines), all Table Game boxes, and non-gaming retail areas.

• The Count Team Member counts monies from bill validators (slot machines), all Table Game boxes, and non-gaming retail areas.
• Sorts, counts and records contents of bill changers and 'blind drop' bags, according to set procedures.
• Responsible for daily reports, minor equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Ensures adherence to all departmental and company policies and procedures, all internal controls, and MS Gaming regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in count operations
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 25 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of assigned shift.
• Must be able to acquire a MS Gaming license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
