- Revenue Accruals & Journal Entries : Calculate, review, and post accurate revenue accruals and month-end journal entries for the Messaging business line within agreed close timelines.
- Balance Sheet & Account Reconciliations : Own end-to-end balance sheet and account reconciliations, proactively investigating reconciling items, clearing open balances, and ensuring ledger integrity.
- Threshold-Based Variance Analysis : Perform first-line Month-over-Month (MoM) and trend variance analysis on Revenue & COGS accounts, identifying root drivers for fluctuations exceeding established thresholds.
- RnC Reporting Packages : Synthesize clean, structured variance schedules, transactional evidence, and crisp commentary directly for the Sr. Revenue Controller.
- Manual ERP Operations & Regional Reporting (~35%)
- AR Invoice & Credit Note Uploads : Manage accurate and timely invoice and credit note uploads into local ERP systems where automated interfaces are pending.
- Regional & Statutory Reporting : Prepare recurring reporting deliverables for Regional Accounting teams, including US TAX reconciliations.
- Operational Query Support : Provide timely supporting data and reconciliations to internal finance stakeholders (OTC, RTR, and Finance Messaging).
- Process Optimization & Automation (~25%)
- Target "Time Thieves": Continuously map operational workflows to flag redundant, manual, or error-prone tasks across the close cycle.
- Build Standardized Automations : Create standardized templates and automated data-cleansing models using advanced Excel, Power Query, and lightweight macros to compress close cycle times.
- Governance & Knowledge Sharing : Maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and visual workflow charts to ensure strong internal controls, seamless cross-training, and team continuity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Experience : B.Com / M.Com, MBA in Finance, CMA / ICWA, or CA Inter with 2–4 years of proven experience in corporate finance/accounting focused on Revenue & COGS.

- Technical Skills :
- Advanced Excel : High proficiency in data manipulation (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables), Power Query, and basic spreadsheet automation (Macros/VBA).
- ERP Systems : Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP Business ByDesign (SAP ByD), NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), or MS Dynamics AX/365 is an advantage.
- BI & Reporting Tools : Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, PrecisionPoint).

- Proactive Ownership & Self-Leadership : High personal initiative to manage routine deliverables and reconciliations accurately and on time with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- End-to-End Analytical Logic : A natural "dot-connector" with a strong grasp of cause-and-effect—looking beyond the spreadsheet to understand how daily operational and billing activities drive revenue numbers and variances.
- Crisp & Empathetic Communication : Clear, structured, and objective communication style when collaborating with colleagues, and global finance partners.
