• The Central Cake Baker at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for crafting high-quality cakes that meet customer specifications and adhere to established recipes. This role focuses on maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires efficiency in meeting production deadlines while ensuring that all products are visually appealing and consistently meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Bake cakes to a consistent quality by following established recipes and fulfilling customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards in the baking area.
• Manage inventory, ensuring that stock displays are organized and replenished as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and assisting with orders.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of baked goods.
• Create visually appealing products through skilled cake decorating and frosting techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Continuously learn new baking techniques and adapt to evolving trends in the industry.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed promptly.

QualificationsRequired Education

• 0–2 years of baking or food service experience
• Hands-on experience with cake decorating, frosting, and basic baking techniques

• Customer service experience in a retail or bakery setting
