DescriptionFiller — Entry-Level Production Role (We Train You)

$22/hour + $1/hour shift differential | Overtime available | Full-Time, Day Shift | No experience needed

Maine Oxy | Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Maine Oxy is hiring a Filler for our Production team. You'll safely fill medical, high-pressure, and liquid gas cylinders, then test, label, and prepare them for our customers. You don't need gas industry experience. If you're dependable and pay attention to detail, we'll teach you everything: our equipment, our processes, and our standards.

What you'll do

Inspect and prep cylinders, then fill them by pressure and weight

Run quality and purity tests using specialized equipment

Complete safety checks and label cylinders accurately

Keep records that meet DOT, FDA, and Maine Oxy requirements

Operate a forklift and material-handling equipment

Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

QualificationsWhat we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures

Ability to work independently on a deadline

Comfortable operating a forklift, or willing to learn

Able to read safety information and Safety Data Sheets

Heads up: this is real physical work

On your feet all day: standing, bending, reaching, and lifting

Lift 25 to 75 pounds regularly, heavier items with equipment

Work indoors and out, from roughly -10°F to over 100°F

Use your senses to spot potential gas leaks (see, hear, smell)
