Are you able to organize, monitor , and optimize maintenance activities as a Maintenance Coordinator within our Service Distribution team responsible for Benelux customers? Do you enjoy solving technical challenges while continuously looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working?

What will you be doing?​

In this responsible role, you will handle internal and external technical client issues and take ownership of the preparation, coordination, reporting, and follow-up of incidents and corrective service activities within a team of three other Maintenance Coordinators. You will ensure that an effective line of communication is maintained with the customer and internal organization to minimize disruption to customer operations and professionally manage customer expectations. Strong listening and communication skills are key, as well as technical affinity and the ability to produce clear work instructions and professional customer communications.

Responsibilities​

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you help our organization improve service operations and deliver high-quality work and reporting through an effective and standardized way of working. In doing so, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Plan, prepare, coordinate, organize, and follow up on multidisciplinary preventive and corrective service activities and service projects;
  • Organize all required materials, tools, permits, and competencies necessary to execute service activities at customer sites;
  • Evaluate, improve, and act as a backup for maintenance planning, execution, and follow-up activities;
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure work is executed according to schedule;
  • Ensure technical maintenance activities are performed according to the service contract and system requirements;
  • Inform, report, and advise customers regarding inspection results and follow up on required actions;
  • Capture all relevant maintenance data in IBM Maximo, our ERP maintenance management system;
  • Collect continuous improvement initiatives and, together with our Continuous Improvement team, translate these into aligned and standardized processes;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve maintenance coordination processes and operational efficiency. By leveraging data, digital solutions, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI, you help optimize service delivery, reduce administrative workload, and enhance the customer experience.

What do we ask from you?

  • A Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software or Industrial Automation or comparable
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a technical service environment;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with databases and spreadsheets;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Experience with ERP systems and an interest in further developing and optimizing business processes;
  • Interest in process improvement, digitalization, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI, with the ability to translate innovative ideas into practical improvements within daily operations;
  • A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus and the ability to challenge existing ways of working constructively.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.000 to €5.50 0 gross per month ( excluding 8% holiday allowance). By exceeding performance expectations, you may also have the opportunity to grow beyond this salary scale.
