As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll combine strong data science foundations with emerging generative AI and agentic capabilities. Working in a cross-functional squad, you’ll turn complex operational challenges into scalable, responsible solutions that deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Reporting to a Chapter Lead of Data Science, you’ll work with data scientists, engineers, operations teams and other specialists to take ideas from experimentation through to production.

You will

  • Design, develop, deploy and monitor generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Build applications using retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration, guardrails and evaluation frameworks.
  • Develop models across natural language processing, classification and unsupervised learning.
  • Translate operational challenges into practical data and AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Apply robust experimentation, feature engineering, model selection and evaluation practices.
  • Partner with engineers to create scalable and maintainable production solutions.
  • Support responsible AI through appropriate validation, governance, risk and monitoring practices.

We’re interested in hearing from people who

You’re an experienced data scientist who combines technical depth with curiosity, commercial judgement and a strong understanding of business context. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines and turning emerging ideas into practical solutions.

  • Strong experience developing and deploying statistical and machine learning models.
  • Practical generative AI experience, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, guardrails, orchestration and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Hands-on capability with Python, SQL and relevant tools such as Spark, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, containers, data pipelines, version control and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation, production monitoring and responsible AI.
  • An experimentation mindset and the ability to demonstrate value in a customer and business context.
  • Strong collaboration skills across data science, engineering, operations and stakeholder groups.
