Accountabilities

Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, reliable, and maintainable back-end applications aligned with business and customer requirements.
Design, implement, and evolve cloud-native solutions using AWS services and architectures.
Develop back-end services primarily with C#/.NET and Python, applying clean and modular engineering practices.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical initiatives that improve system scalability, resilience, performance, and maintainability.
Apply automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and other software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and resilient microservices where appropriate.
Work with relational and non-relational databases to support efficient and reliable application architectures.
Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with engineering teams and other stakeholders in an agile environment, particularly within Scrum practices.
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and technical optimization.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help establish effective development and operational practices.
Work across international projects and collaborate with teams operating across North and South America and Europe.

Requirements

Strong professional experience in back-end software development using C#/.NET and Python.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating solutions in AWS environments, including cloud architecture and managed services.
Strong understanding of back-end application architecture, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Experience with software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and resilient microservices architectures.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server and/or NoSQL technologies such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
Experience with automated testing and engineering practices that promote code quality and reliability.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with experience participating in incident resolution and performance analysis.
Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and drive continuous improvement.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with international teams.
Advanced English or Spanish proficiency.
Availability to work in person two days per week at the designated office.
A background in banking or fintech is considered an advantage.
