Role SummaryWe are seeking a Quality Manager to build and lead AnySignal’s quality function across development and production. This role combines hands-on ownership of inspection and quality execution with strategic leadership to scale our quality systems, team, and <culture.You> will be responsible for ensuring product reliability and compliance from early design through manufacturing and test, while evolving our Quality Management System (QMS) into a scalable, high-impact system. This is a highly cross-functional role partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to improve yield, prevent escapes, and enable mission success. ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership & StrategyOwn and evolve the QMS (ISO 9001/AS9100 aligned), keeping it compliant yet practical for a fast-moving hardware environment, including documentation, policies, and audit support. Build and lead the quality team while defining the company's quality strategy across the full product lifecycle.Establish and rack key quality metrics (yield, escapes, nonconformances, reliability) and drive improvement through methodologies like Lean, SPC, and DOE.Supplier & Cross-Functional QualityOwn responsibility and interface with customers for logistics and documentation of RMA and CoC.Partner with Supply Chain on supplier quality — incoming inspection, corrective actions, and qualification. Establish strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.Manufacturing & Product QualityOwn inspection processes (incoming, in-process, final) and the metrology systems behind them, partnering with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve yield and reduce rework. Lead MRB, NCR/CAPA/RCA workflows to closure, and partner with Engineering on design reviews, manufacturability, and quality plans to prevent escapes. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality, or related roles in a hardware production environment3+ years of experience leading teams or owning major cross-functional quality initiativesStrong experience with inspection, NCR/MRB, CAPA, and RCA workflowsAbility to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD modelsExperience working in high-complexity or high-reliability industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, electronics to PCBA level)Excellent communication skills and ability to solely interface with customers and drive alignment across teamsDesired QualificationsExperience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality systemsExperience scaling or evolving a company’s quality systems in a startup or high-growth environmentFamiliarity with IPC standards, metrology tools, and advanced quality methods (SPC, DOE, PFMEA, APQP)Supplier quality experience including SCARs, FAI/PPAP, and vendor auditsExperience supporting regulated or mission-critical programs (space, defense, medical, etc.) Export Control RequirementsTo comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
