Floor Supervisor AY 2026-2027

A floor supervisor oversees daily floor operations, directs staff, maintains merchandise or workflow standards, resolves customer or employee issues, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Retail / Hospitality

• Assign and direct tasks for floor staff.
• Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory levels, and restocking.
• Provide on‑the‑spot coaching and performance feedback.
• Handle first‑level customer issues and escalated complaints.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Manufacturing / Production

• Supervise production workers (machine operators, assemblers, inspectors).
• Review production schedules and make staffing or workflow decisions.
• Monitor productivity data and correct operational issues.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and train employees.
• Maintain inventory and order materials as needed

• Knowledge of safety standards and School policies
• Ability to manage workflow, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
