Help keep communities connected.

Join our Telecommunications team in Hamilton and play an important role behind the scenes, ensuring the equipment, materials and inventory our field teams rely on are in the right place at the right time.

As a Logistics Specialist, you'll be the link between the warehouse and field operations, helping projects run smoothly through accurate inventory management, excellent service and a strong focus on safety. Working closely with technicians, field managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll contribute to the delivery of critical telecommunications infrastructure that connects homes, businesses and communities across New Zealand.

You'll be responsible for

  • Managing day to day warehouse operations in a safe, organised and efficient environment
  • Receiving, picking, packing and dispatching equipment, materials and consumables
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, including customer consignment stock
  • Processing purchase orders and inventory transactions accurately and on time
  • Coordinating stock movements and returns to support operational teams
  • Conducting daily inspections of stock and equipment before deployment to site
  • Building strong relationships with technicians, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Promoting safe work practices and supporting a strong health and safety culture

You're someone who enjoys keeping things organised, solving problems and delivering great service. You take pride in getting the details right and enjoy working with a range of people to achieve a common goal.

Ideally, you'll bring

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, stores or a similar environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using inventory, warehouse management or ERP systems
  • A customer focused mindset and excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence adapting to change
  • A practical commitment to health and safety
  • A current full New Zealand Driver Licence

Experience within telecommunications, utilities or infrastructure would be beneficial but is not essential.

A forklift licence is desirable, although training can be arranged for the right person.
