About The Role

The Opportunity

As a CAD Design Specialist Intern , you will work alongside our Concrete Restoration Systems commercial and technical teams to support drawings, project documentation, and customer-facing materials. You will gain hands-on experience translating project information and technical concepts into accurate visual details that support product recommendations, specifications, and commercial projects. This experience may lead to future opportunities in technical services or commercial project support.

Create and update CAD drawings, details, layouts, and technical illustrations.
Support project submittals, specifications, presentations, and customer materials.
Develop product application details for concrete repair and restoration systems.
Revise drawings based on project requirements and technical-team feedback.
Help maintain drawing libraries, templates, standards, and project files.
Review plans and project information to support technical recommendations.

The Program Details

Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
Internship duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI’s CRS team
Host location: Deerfield Beach, FL

What you bring

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CAD Design, Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design software
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical information
Strong communication skills, initiative, curiosity
An innovative mindset and strong motivation to learn and succeed
Willingness to travel
