Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate QA professional with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and executing robust testing strategies across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional, regression, and automation testing using contemporary tools and frameworks, driving defect detection and enhancing product reliability in agile environments. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_QA_D&A_Advisory_Ahmedabad Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing of enterprise applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to identify defects and ensure software quality. Develop and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, UFT, Cypress, or similar. Collaborate closely with development, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage. Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines, monitor test results, and report defects effectively using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects promptly. Advocate quality best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and agile testing methodologies. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, test progress reporting, retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Stay updated with emerging QA trends, automation tools, and testing methodologies to enhance testing efficiency. Mandatory skill sets: Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing in Agile and Waterfall project environments. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, UFT, Cypress, or equivalent, including scripting experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong knowledge of functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing processes. Experience in creating and executing detailed test cases and defect management using tools like Jira, Quality Center, or TestRail. Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo to integrate automated tests. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Preferred skill sets: Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest-Assured. Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing cloud-native applications. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes in CI/CD pipelines. Experience in database testing and proficiency in SQL queries. Certification in ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent QA certifications is an advantage.
