WHO WE ARE Catlin Gabel is an independent, progressive PreK-12 school in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to foster compassionate and curious citizens of the world by inspiring in every student a love of learning and the courage to take responsible action. Our Extended Learning programs carry that mission beyond the school day. We believe after-school time should be more than supervision: it should be a place for students to build relationships, explore interests, exercise voice and choice, and develop greater independence in a safe and welcoming community.
