About The Role

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, process daily transactions, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice verification, supplier payments, statement reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, debtor ageing, reconciliations and follow-ups.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash balances and support cash flow and banking activities.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements, including VAT, SSCL and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, maintain proper documentation and support improvements to finance processes and controls.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely information and documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline and/or Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or AAT with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar).
  • Good command of at least English and Sinhala languages.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
