Your Role
As a member of Citco's Fund Accounting Best Practice Team, you will support the delivery of data-driven insights, operational improvement initiatives, control monitoring and strategic projects across our global Fund Accounting platform.
Working alongside operational teams, technology partners and senior stakeholders, you will analyse data, identify trends and opportunities, support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, quality and control.
- Gather, analyse and interpret operational, financial and performance data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce and maintain management reports, dashboards and key performance indicators to support operational oversight and decision-making.
- Support quarterly Best Practice reporting through data collection, validation, analysis and preparation of insights and recommendations.
- Perform exception analysis and investigate recurring themes, supporting root cause identification and remediation tracking.
- Assist with targeted reviews of operational processes, controls and procedures to identify opportunities for standardisation, risk reduction and efficiency gains.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes, analysing current workflows and assisting with the implementation of agreed improvements.
- Assist in evaluating automation and AI opportunities through data analysis, process mapping and benefits assessment.
- Develop and maintain complex Excel models, analytical tools and reporting solutions to support operational and management requirements.
- Support testing activities for system enhancements, strategic platforms and process improvements, ensuring operational requirements are met.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, reference guides, standard templates and best practice materials.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Product, OPEX and Quality Control teams to support strategic initiatives and business projects.
- Assist with the monitoring and tracking of improvement initiatives, ensuring actions, benefits and outcomes are appropriately recorded and reported.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that improve the scalability, consistency and effectiveness of Fund Accounting operations.
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups, data modelling and complex formula development.
- Experience working with large data sets and transforming data into meaningful management information.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and within a team
