YourRole.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a strong hands-on mentality, technical vision, and a passion for independently driving demanding solutions forward. As part of our dynamic team, you will develop innovative software solutions for electric commercial vehicles and actively contribute your experience to the further development of our systems.

In addition, you will take responsibility for the further development and management of our tool chain for code generation. You will accompany software releases from development through simulation and automated testing all the way to integration on the vehicle, and support troubleshooting and optimization directly on the system.

What You Can Achieve With Us.

Independent creation, further development, and maintenance of functional requirements, as well as coordination and evaluation of change requests.

-

Active contribution to and continuous further development of the software architecture, taking into account scalability, maintainability, and system requirements.

-

Independent implementation, optimization, and validation of control and closed-loop algorithms for electric commercial vehicles.

-

Responsibility for the further development, maintenance, and optimization of the tool chain for code generation, as well as its efficient integration into the development process.

Responsibility for compiling, integrating, and testing software releases, as well as analyzing and resolving any errors that arise.

-

Independent support for the commissioning of new vehicles, including software configuration, diagnostics, and assistance with systematic fault analysis on the vehicle.

Planning, execution, and evaluation of unit tests, system simulations, and other verification and validation activities.

-

Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, as well as ensuring traceable and consistent documentation of software, architecture, and development processes.

How You Will Succeed in This Role.

-

Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, control engineering, or a related discipline.

-

Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, and the software development life cycle.

-

Knowledge of Real-Time-Systems and Python.

-

Automotive experience is a plus

-

Experience with cybersecurity and over-the-air update systems

-

Experience with version control systems such as Git and basic knowledge of project management tools.

-

Analytical skills and a fundamental understanding of debugging and problem-solving.

-

Ability to create clear documentation and communicate effectively within a team.

-

Practical experience with electric vehicles or mechatronic systems.
