About The Role

Do you enjoy turning ideas into working prototypes? Are you curious about how products perform in real-world conditions and energized by solving technical challenges?

We are looking for a R&D Engineering Technician / R&D Technicus Engineering to support the development and validation of innovative dosing, dispensing, dilution, and packaging solutions for the professional cleaning and hygiene industry.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with Innovation and Product Development Engineering teams to build prototypes, create test setups, execute laboratory testing, and verify product performance. Your work will help transform concepts into reliable, market-ready solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Build, modify, and maintain prototypes, test rigs, and laboratory setups
  • Execute product testing and verification activities according to defined test plans and protocols
  • Support the development and validation of new dosing, dispensing, dilution, and packaging solutions
  • Troubleshoot technical issues identified during testing and recommend practical solutions
  • Collect, analyze, and document test results and technical findings
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods, laboratory capabilities, and equipment

What We're Looking For

  • MBO Level 4, Associate Degree, in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production or a related technical field
  • Experience in a laboratory, workshop, R&D, manufacturing engineering, or similar technical environment
  • Experience with prototype building, testing, and mechanical workshop activities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Hands-on, proactive, curious and eager to learn
  • Fluent English

Nice to Have

  • Workshop and machining experience (milling, lathe, fabrication)
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, test rigs, or validation setups
  • Experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Basic knowledge of mechatronics, automation, or programming (Arduino experience is a plus)
