Process Quality Engineer (Quality Engineer II)

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain process control plans for stamping, plating, and final inspection processes.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3, and customer requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Partner with Engineering and Production teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Utilize SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to improve process performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
  • Strong knowledge in 3D report, CAPA
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Power BI or Minitab.
  • Certified ISO9001/IATF16949 Internal Auditor preferred.
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification is an advantage.
  • Business level command of English
