Job Description: Business Supervisor (Kisumu) Position Summary The Business Supervisor will serve as our primary representative in Kisumu, responsible for bridging external public relations with internal operations. This role demands a highly trustworthy and proactive professional who can navigate complex local government landscapes, leverage local networks, and coordinate project-based initiatives internally to drive successful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Government Relations & External Liaison: Establish, cultivate, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Kisumu government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local institutional partners to facilitate smooth business operations. Project Coordination & Execution: Act as the internal coordinator for project-based initiatives, ensuring tasks are planned, tracked, and delivered on time through effective cross-departmental collaboration. Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor local regulatory updates, leverage legal principles to safeguard the company’s interests, and ensure all business operations comply with local laws and policies. Stakeholder & Network Management: Actively engage with local social and business networks to identify potential opportunities, represent the company in external forums, and resolve administrative bottlenecks. Job Requirements Established Kisumu Network: Must possess active local social connections and a proven track record of working directly with government agencies or key institutional contacts within Kisumu. Exemplary Personal Character: Absolute honesty, integrity, and a high sense of responsibility. Professional Background: Prior experience in project management or a background in legal affairs/law is highly preferred to effectively handle complex institutional and administrative procedures. Education & Commitment: Bachelor’s degree or above.
