Job Role

The AVP for Business Analysis and Project Management in Technology is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging business objectives with technology solutions. This position oversees end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical implementation while driving efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and pain points.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and solution designs.
Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.

Project Management

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
Manage risks, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
Implement best practices in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to optimize delivery.

Leadership & Governance

Drive cross-functional collaboration between business units, technology teams, and vendors.
Establish governance frameworks for project tracking, reporting, and compliance.
Mentor and develop BA and PM teams to build organizational capability.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and deliverables meet quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.
Expertise in technology platforms, digital transformation, and enterprise systems.
Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in technology projects, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe) are highly desirable.
